Error message is giving while compiling a C program in Linux

You should post this in in the Programming forum - I recommend that you email a moderator and get it moved. Also, please don't mark your threads as urgent, it's only urgent to you - not the people who are reading your post.

Also, give us more information. What you have given us to work with is almost useless to answer your question.

What distro are you using?
What is the version of gcc?
What is the version of ld?
