issue with message pop up window

I am trying to make a shell script for my thin client user and facing one issue with that.
What I am trying to do is as my thin client user gets login
a gnome terminal window will pop-up infront of him/her and run my script(A script which broadcast a birthday message to all of them).

Script is working fine if I execute it directly from gnome terminal.
I can also open the gnome terminal by adding it in the bash profile of all the users,
But somehow i am not able to take the output of the birtday script on that gnome terminal...........
if u need sm more clarification then do tell me

So suggest me sm way to do this.........
Thanx in advance

I don't understand "...take the output of the birtday script on that gnome terminal."

Do you mean, receive the user's input, button choice, etc. ?

If so, show the point in your script where you call the dialog. The dialog will return a value which you can use as you see fit.

If I am misunderstanding, please clarify.
