Forgive me. When I initially read the post I thought you wanted to be able to publish something as with scribd and embed it on your website, but something non-flash based. I don’t know of any good free implementations for pdf viewing, as its generally used to restrict what the end-user can do with a normal hyperlink to a pdf.
I did find
one, but it looks far from polished.
