It's only a few weeks since I first appeared here, asking how to install programs, and get things working.. Well I still get it wrong at times... But feel I could be kissing XP goodbye!

I have also renewed my interest in PIC programming (or even Z80)?

BUT do'es anyone know of a Linux based programmer or assembler for the PIC series of MicroControllers, or how about a buggy on an umbilical cord (ie. Via serial port) I would perhaps have to lean a new language like C+, python??

Any help would be much apprecated
