Including binary file into bash script

I'm writing some bash script, which will use netcat. But, because I'm in need to use that script on hosts which doesn't have netcat installed, I have to include netcat in that script. I don't want any other solutions, like wget http://some.webpage.com/nc etc. Netcat just have to be included in .sh file. I saw such solutions in some scripts, e.x. NVIDIA installer or America's Army game.
So, how to include binary file to bash script, and what commands to place in script to "unpack" that binary file? I really appreciate your help
