Image magick help!
 

Hi

I have a rather large animated .gif files and I wish to make this into an AVI using the 'convert' tool. However I seem unable to it. When I try, I get the following problems: convert: No encode delegate for this image format (animation.avi).

I am trying: onvert ani2.gif animation.avi

I'm fairly certain imagemagick does not create movie files (lest it be called moviemagick ;))

you could use imagemagick to explode an animated gif, then something like transcode, mencoder, or ffmpeg to make a video out of the image sequence.
