identify mouse cursor location

Hi,

I'm using Red hat 6 in my work station.

I want to identify mouse cursor location.
How can I do that?

I already read that i can try use "xdotool" but in my work station it's not install and I can't do that.

I'll appreciate if anyone can advice.

Thanks

Hi...

When you say "work station," do you mean the computer you use at your place of employment or your own personal system? Also, are you referring to the Enterprise version of Red Hat?

I found the xdotool package here but whether you can install it depends, at least in part, on the two factors above.

Regards...

Hi...

After a cursory look, I'm not seeing anything. The only suggestion I can offer is to ask your employer if you can get permission to install the package I linked to from a thumb drive.

However, if they say "no," I wouldn't go beyond that.

Regards...

Hi...

Please reread my last post about securing permission from your employer.
