Question I need help with python-serial


on python-serial when i click enter and it is suppost to prompt me for y/n it auto clicks return and makes it n

What are you trying to do with python-serial? Are you writing a program using it? What's asking for Y/n? Maybe you could copy and paste exactly what you're seeing.

Sounds like you might be better off using a serial terminal program like Minicom or screen. Try installing the 'screen' program through your distribution's package manager and then running:

screen /dev/(serialport) (baud rate)
