HTML: title text updating?

I have a page which displays two panes of content using a frame set (yeah, I know it's not the greatest).

Each pane has a separate webpage that refreshes itself every 2 minutes. Normally each page displays in their title text a number paged on the items displayed on the page. When shown in the frame set, the title text does not update with each refresh. Is there anyway to dynamically update the frame set title text paged on the content from its two sub-panes?

What ever you want to appear in a frameset has do be done in that document. All your index file that hold the framset does it lets a browser know which pages to display and where and what size they need to be. For some other ideas, try dynamicdrive.com-they have a lot of codes that are helpful.
