i m using the fedora-core 6 .
i m developing my application using c++ language.
i want to develop application which transfer any format file like
.txt,.pdf,.doc,etc from serial port and want to receive in the same format from another pc serial port.
can u tell me how to do this.
i read serialport port manual but how to transfer file any format and receive in the same format that i dont know

Just use zmodem. The problem was solved over 20 years ago.

Update: Most Linux systems have this implemented as the rz/sz commands.

These prior questions by you have all asked the same thing, and most received good answers. Now, tell us what specifically it is that you do not understand. Please don't expect someone to write your whole program(s) for you. Show us what you have already tried (code samples in [C O D E] tags, please), and what part of it does not work.

You've asked this question at least three times now and you have not providing any feedback in the previous threads. I'm not sure what you're expecting of the LQ users, but some effort from you is required. You're not going to get somebody do code the entire implementation for you.
