how to read from file


hi its not really a problem but i can get a C++ program to read from a floppy drive but how do you get it to rad from a harddrive? does any one have any code because i cannot seem to doit.

Do you mean read a file from the harddrive or see what is on the harddrive?

To be honest i have never tried doing that, but after a quick search I found an os independant class which is supplied "as is" from:
