How to get time in Linux Modules (LKM)


Hi Friends,

This is Mike and here is my first post !! I am expecting warm responce from you guys so lets see.

I am writing a module for Linux Kernel Programming .. (LKM: Loadable Kernel Modules) and I need access of system time from kernel mode.
Does anyone know how may I get system time using Kernel Programming??

Your any kind of suggestion of piece of code will be a great help to me.

Don't kernel modules have access to do_gettimeofday() as in "man 2 gettimeofday"?
