How to create progress bar in Glade

I'm creating a front end for writing Cds.

I'm using the function system("cdrecord.......<options>");
this ,,I'm initializing using a button.

how to create progressbar for this.............pls help me

In my opinion you need to parse cdrecord output and adjust the progress bar value. I don't see an easier way.
