How to connect a GSM mobile to the computer?


Hi all,

I am doing a project to develop a application that sends sms from a GSM mobile connected to the system. But i dont know how to detect a mobile fone and access it.

Please give me some help regarding this. I need to develop everything from scratch.

Gnokii is a ready made application. I want to make one application similar to gnokii.. please help me in this regardss...
