Question How do I use ecpg preprocessor from Kdevelop?

I would like to integrate embedded sql (PostgreSQL) into my project. Apparently ecpg includes a preprocessor that takes a .pgc file and turns it into a .c file which can be compiled as usual. I want to be able to add the .pgc file to the project and have the proper makefile entries generated.

I think it is a bad idea to edit the makefile directly since it is auto generated.

By the way, my main project is written in C++.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was hoping someone on this forum would have an answer. Is there a different forum that would have been better?
