Hiding the desktop and the "system tray" of KDE Desktop...
Hi!
I would like to make an application able to hide/show the desktop of the KDE desktop environment... Within Windows, this can be done with a set of Win API making the application behave as a screensaver. Is there any equivalent in Linux? Thanks in advance for any hint. Best regards, Kader. |
why don't you just read the source? xlock or xscreensaver I'm sure could help in this area.
what is it exactly that you're trying to do? |
I've seen lots of programs that have a "full screen" mode. Gthumb is one example. It can also be done with Java, photomesa does that.
