Unhappy help!! some questions about the gtk gui programming


hi guys,
i want to realize the transparent window by using alpha channel or other methods, in terms of
picture. i can add a alpha channel ,however, when it comes to the widget. i am completely confused . how can i make a widget become transparency. a simple example is perfered. thank you.

how can i find the possible solution. i do try some function as well. such as mask_combine(),but no effect.
