help on the different shells...
hi friends...
I know and have learned many things about shell scripts and I'm already creating some interesting ones.
I searched a LOT about the following and I know it's just homework. I just ask if you can share your ideas.
every time I start one of them, i write :
#!/bin/bash
ok, I know that line specifies the shell I'll use in my script, but what does it mean in a clear way?
Why are there:
/bin/ash
/bin/bsh
/bin/ksh
/bin/sh
can anyone point out diferences or whatever?
thanks
