Help needed!!

I wrote a C code on linux (mdk 9.1)environment. The program communicates with a specific device via serial port with rs232 and the program uses standard libaries. on my system (mdk 9.1), I can compile and run the code easily by adding some additional library paths.
What I want is to write a script that can compile my code on various systems like UNIX systems and other linux systems. How can I do it?

You can do that sort of thing with GNU Autoconf. There is an on-line manual and everything on the website.
