hcitool cache

Hi there,

I'm trying to search for bluetooth devices in my office and send messages to the people that work here (eg meeting times and stuff). At the moment I have a a script kind of running but i'm having an issue with hcitool. It works ok but at the moment it does an initial inquiry and then all subsequent inquiries for the next 10 seconds come back really fast and have exactly the same results even if someone else walks into the office.

Is there any way I can stop hcitool from caching its output so that it does a full inquiry every time.

cheers for any help, tips and guidance!!

Joe

Apparantly hcitool dumps its cache in /var/lib/bluetooth however I can't seem to see it in there when I run hcitool. I have tried a scan and an enquiry.

Any ideas anyone?

Joe
