Question GTK Programming Worth Learning

I was just searching around two or three nights ago and found a GTK Programming tutorial for c/c++ for GUI stuff. Is this worth it, or should I find something better maybe something a little more well rounded or even universal as far as gnome and kde go? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Almost all GUI programs are written using either GTK or Qt. The main difference between them is the licences that they are issued under. I think that GTK has the better licensing arrangement. You will not find "something a little more well rounded or even universal as far as gnome and kde go? " I highly recommend Gtk.
