graphic support for c++ on Fedora Core1 platform

Hi,

I am using Fedora Core1.
I have recently switched from windows to linux

I am also learning c++
I have a problem while working with graphic c++ programs in linux

Their is no "conio" or "graphics.h" header files and all my graphics c++ programs do not work.

I have an Intel 845 board .

How can i run all those c++ programs that require the "graphics.h"
header file in Fedora Core1
