Good book for Database

I am currently learning SQL. I will soon start learning DBMS as well.
I only know about Silbershatz book
Is that the book that I should be studying with?
This is the first time I am studying DBMS. So I wanted a beginner friendly book.

Depending on your needs, you might look through O'Reilly's offerings. They have several excellent books in their catalogue.

Try looking at some bookseller's websites. SQL is abundantly documented and tutorialized and referenced online. As much as we would like SQL to be totally DBMS agnostic, there are differences in each vendor's implementation. Consult the documentation that is specific to the DBMS that you are using.
