glade/qt/c

hi,

firslty i would like to ask if there are any popular and helpforums like LQ for c/c++, java, gtk?

and my next question is an application written with gtk can it be compiled and run under windows without any modification of the code?

glade is a RAD tool for gtk and says that code produced is in c. i came across that it can also produce c++ code. is that correct and how stable is it?

and lastly a kind of akward question, any suggestions for manuals or goo tutorials for starting coding with gtk and glade?

glade can provide output in c, c++, eiffel, ada, Perl, Ruby and others i think. c++ output will be fine.

best tool for getting started with gtk is to just use a text editor you're comforatble with. and if you want to "cheat" you've already found glade.
