Gkrellm Plugin Headaches
Ok. So I've tried basing my code off of several of the demos on Gkrellm's site but the fact is, they don't really seem to have what I'm trying to do. So, it's really hard to learn from those.
Here's what I'm trying to do.
All I want, is a bunch of little colored circles (already made as a single .xpm file). And I want to switch the ones that are drawn based on the incoming data. (just like little LCD lights). I don't want them to be buttons or anything fancy like that.
I've gotten a basic plugin to 'kind of' show the LCDs except that not all of the image is being drawn. It's like it's skipping pixels. Each time I load it, it shows up differently, but still wrong. One time after compiling, the image showed up properly, but then after closing and reloading Gkrellm, they showed up wrong again.
Anyone have any idea what's going on? Or maybe some tips for a Gkrellm (but not C programming) beginner?
If you need any screenees or code, just let me know.
Thanks,
~BinaryNova
