Generating coredump on remote machine

We have debian running on emmbedded platform and have limited drive space. We would like to gather the coredump (if it happens) on the different system than actual device. Most prefered way to have the coredump ftp'ed to remote server.
Does any one know how to achieve this? Any suggestions/solutions will be greately appreciated.
Thank you

Hmm. I am not sure but will redirecting stderr to a pipe to your FTP command send the coredump? Probably not.
Do you not have room for the coredump at all? As you may just have to do it manually.
