gedit source code

Hello, does someone know where is the spellchecker part in the gedit source code?. If not, some website or mailing list that could help with this?
Thanks,
regards,

As far as I know gedit uses an external program for spell checking. Usually this would be ispell, but aspell is supposed to be better. You should be able to find both of those at http://freshmeat.net
