File this question under routine, mundane -- even "been there" --- "done that", got the t-shirt etc...

In your opinion, which is better or more useful,
which has more to offer or has nothing going for it:

pythonGTK or perlGTK

Which one is faster once compiled and which one would be more secure?

Of course, compile is neither here nor there--since they are scripting languages and not truly "compiled"-- so ignore the slip
