Favorite 256-color vim color scheme
What is your favorite 256-color color scheme for vim?
|
I strongly prefer no color scheme :)
|
I ended up going with the xoria256 color scheme. Mainly because there's a matching one for mc.

Just a heads up that vim 8 ships with two color schemes, evening and and koehler, that were updated in the last couple of months.

badwolf is what I like and use 99% of the time. https://github.com/sjl/badwolf

Well I have to say those 2 shipped colours are revolting to me :(
I did quite like the look of badwolf, may have to try it for a bit :) My current scheme is ingretu |
I personally started with "torte", and went from there.
Haven't really liked people's theming choices enough to use myself daily. |
I was reading 10 Vim Color Schemes You Need to Own and saw vividchalk which I like quite a bit. The statusline is a little too low contrast in terminal-vim, but that's not hard to fix. Some of the other ones look interesting, but I haven't tried them yet. I used to really like Solarized, but these days I like the high contrast colors.
