error during make modules command


hi i have inserted my hello.o module into my kernel but wn i give the command
make modules
from the directory /usr/vsr/Linux2.4
i recievd following error:

make[3]: *** [module.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/Linux/drivers/addon/cipe'
make[2]: *** [_modsubdir_cipe] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/Linux/drivers/addon'
make[1]: *** [_modsubdir_addon] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/Linux/drivers'
make: *** [_mod_drivers] Error 2
[root@localhost Linux]#



how do i continue........

The actual error is somewhere above the code you have posted. Post a longer fragment (the one when first errors occur is the most important one).
