Unhappy Enable Auto Completion Window on C/C++ Pack?

I have installed NetBeans IDE 5.5 with C/C++ Pack (Beta 3). When I'm editing a C/C++ file, the code completion window does not popup automatically at all even with "auto popup completion window" is enabled in the "advanced options". Is it possible to really enable it without pressing "ctrl + space" or "ctrl + \" ?

Sorry for starting a new post if the answer is simple. I have been finding for more than an hour.
