eclipse project run

I followed the wizrd for creating a project in eclipse ver. 3.1.2 for linux . It builds fine, but when I hit Run ni the end , it gives me the configuration window , I choose the project , I hit "search project" and it also gives me the project , I hit Apply , and then I cannot hit Run , because this run button stays grayed . Why is that ?
I also would like to know if I can use the eclipse debugger which comes with this version of eclipse , or I should use ddd debuger?

First you create the project.
Second you create the main class in the project and you run the class.
If you have a GUI constructor for example in a different class ,which is called by the main class, and you try to run it then you just need to say which is the project and which is the main class (if not already defined by Eclipse).
You can use the default bebugger as I know but I never used it as I prefer to debug the program my self.
