Eclipse Debug mode not working (/dev/ttys0)

hey frnds,
I am working on RHEL4.
eclipse_64_bit + gcc3.4_64bit + QT4.3_64bit

i am able to compile and build my application successfullly.
and i can run it too .but when i start deug mode in eclipse .

It gives following error
:reason
/dev/ttys0 : permission denied.
due to this reason i am not able to continue in debug mode.
i saw abt the permission of this file .
user and owner are given read and write permission from admin.
but not exceution permission .

do i need execution permission ?
how this ttys0 is connected with eclipse and all . please explain me .
and suggest me solution .

hey frnds ,
problem is solved ,
actully i was ussing remote debugging mode ,
i dont need it ,
now i selected standalone eclipse gdb debugger ,
its working now .

but still have soem problems .

when i start debug mode , it go to first main ,

and then it does not go to any breakpoint , directly go to error .
i have set many breakpoints in differenct cpp files ..

reason could be
it says , for breakpointed source filename.cpp
"No source file named file.cpp"........ I tried giving mapping path in debug source tab , but still its showing me this error .

pls help if any buddy knwo any thing abt this issue .
