Downloading a file from Url in perl

Hi,

We have to download a file from a given URL that is a direct link to the file on the web server. We know how to download via FTP if it were an FTP server (Net::FTP) but we do not know how to do this on an HTTP server.

Any hint would be appreciated.

Use either the LWP or LWP::Simple modules. They are very easy to use.
