Decoding the contents of .Doc file

Hello,

I have created one program which gives me the contents of attach file.

The conetents of .txt file which i got is absolutely correct when I am attaching the .txt file throuh mail.

But With .doc file , it is not correct.

The headers and contents that i got when i am attaching the .doc file through mail are

-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="startMessage"

1
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="session"

3
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="passed_id"

-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="send_to"

abc@xvz.com
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="send_to_cc"

-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="send_to_bcc"

-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="subject"

-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="mailprio"

3
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="body"

sc
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="MAX_FILE_SIZE"

52428800
-----------------------------7d62a515b00da
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="attachfile"; filename="C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\Desktop\This is a safesquid test.doc"
Content-Type: application/msword

ÐÏࡱá // this a contents of the .doc file.

I think this (ÐÏࡱá) is a encoded stream.

And How it is decoded ........?

I m working in C,C++ and Unix.

Where I get the information or program.

Regards,
Yashwant Pinge

Goto www.wotsit.org

Search for DOC filetypes.

There are several file formats for .doc files - from Word2 to Word6.
The file header tells you which format you have. Download the documentation.
