creative webcam help about epcam.c

i am working on RHEL4 with kernel version-2.6.9. i build the creative webcam model # PD1001 and chipset ep800. it works fine only problem is its speed is very slow i mean to say camera response is very slow.but anyhow it works. can u please help me about the code of epcam.c and epcam.h....the functions used in these files. i just want their brief detail that what this structure do?.....if u have any idea please tell me.i will wait for reply
