Creating new Printer Driver
 

What steps would I need to take if I wanted to write a printer driver for a Lexmark X5150 under Linux. Taking into account:

1) I haven't got any real C or C++ skills (so okay - I get this first)

Then what would I need to do?

Let's call this a trial by fire project... :study:

Pearls of wisdom will be put on display and polished regularly :D
