Question couldn't import swing in JAVA on REDHAT LINUX 9


hi,
Actually i downloaded the j2sdk for LINUX platform kit from SUN's website then i created a graphical interface using awt and swing jframe etc.........now when i m compiling the program i m getting an error msg that " cannot locate swing.........

Now that same program is running fine on windows platform.... Therefore what is the problem with j2sdk of LINUX platform....

there is no problem which java on linux. it might be a silly question but do you know how to program in java?

Check if you've installed the gcc-java. If installed, uninstalled it.
And re-install the Sun's J2sdk.
