Question copy files using API


Hi friends

I want to write one GUI application where I want to copy files from /home /<username>/temp to /usr/share/cups/model

Is there any API for that ? How to use that ?

After a long search i found that i can copy files using fork and exec system call.

Otherwise I can use "system" system call in my C program

u can always use that
but u mentiond that u need a API for ur work
