Configuring OpenGL under Linux

How do I configure KDevelop to accept openGL code under C++?

Specificaully, I am using openGL in conjunction with GLUT and in Windows Visual Studio I have to include a couple of dll files and change a few options. What are the requirements for KDevelop?

I'm not familiar with KDevelop, but somehow you have to tell it to add the following to the linker parameters: -lglut -lGL -lGLU. (Note: CASE IS IMPORTANT!) Additionally, you may also need -L/usr/X11R6/lib -I/usr/X11R6/include to add a search path for include files and libraries. Sometimes additional X11 libraries are needed as well. Just seems to depend on various factors.
