compilation error - code 2


I'm trying to compile a program at emacs and receive the error

compilation exited abnormaly with code 2...

any idea wht code 2 means?

i don't work with emacs, but if you can provide more information we might be able to pinpoint the source of the problem.
does this happen to any program u write in emacs or a specific one only?
did you try to compile that specific program in gcc without emacs?

the problem was technical as usually. in the make file I wrote SOURCES twice...
