code for taking snapshot with a webcam

I want to take a snapshot 1280x960 with my philips webcam and I need some code for doing it. Does anyone know where I can find it?

"Some code" is a bit vague .... what language?

You could look at the source for camE ... go
to and search for it.

I'm searching a C code for Webcam.
Now I see the web site that you have suggested. If you know another place where I can find c code please tell me.
