Cluster Programs

Hi I didn't exactly know where to post this.... but I was wondering what was used for efficient cluster programs ( either multi-threaded or multi-process )

I'm more interested in the background programs which enable these programs to run, like cluster management software, work-load based process switching, etc.

Any good websites to start looking at? Or any other type of media? Or bits of code?

Thanks,
-- Shifty8
