Close Mozilla window

Hi,
I want to write a program which opens up multiple Mozilla browser windows and close one of them at some time. the problem is i found that there is only one mozilla process which controls all browser windows, if I close this process, all windows will be lost.

How do i distinguish different browser window process and close anyone of them without killing that single mozilla process?

if you read 'man mozilla' i remember there was some command to send commands to running instances of mozilla. donno if that will help
