Cflags

Hi

i'm not a C programmer.
but i nedd to know a "simple" info about.
is there an utility/command to inquiry kernel modules (*.ko) to see the CFLAGS used at compile time.
to be more specific i need to know if they are compiled for a specific architecture , i think is the -march parameter

thanks in advance

Maurizio

There's no information in the kernel module which would tell you what options are used to build it.
You can find some information about the module, including the architecture it was compiled for, by using the file command. More detailed info can be obtained by using readelf or objdump. But neither will tell you if -march was specified when the module was compiled.
