but seriously, screw learning languages, thats the easy part. you should learn specific technologies, certain libraries and toolkits. thats where the money is. go to a job interview and say, "hey, i know c/c++/java/etc" and they'll laugh. they want people who know WFC, MCF, QT, MySQL, blah blah blah...specific technologies.
my professors always said "the langauge is trivial, you should be able to implement your ideas in any language." and they are right...=)
learn c++ (well) and from there, picking up any other language should be cake. i learned python in about 2 days.
