C libraries with GCC compiler

I'm trying to compile a simple program and I use the conio.h librarie... I've learned the basics of C programming on windows but when I tryed to compile a program using gcc the compiler couldn't find conio.h Is there I should know before using that librarie??? Is it replaced by another librarie?

Here is my source:

#include <stdio.h>
#include <conio.h>

main
{
int number;
printf("please, enter a number");scanf("%d",&number);
colortext(2);
cprintf("you entered the number %d",number);
getch();
return 0;
}

The getch() is there so I need to press enter before the program ends.

Please note this is Just an example... I'm working on something a little bit more usefull... But I was trying the two basic libraries I will use stdio.h and conio.h

Thank you for reading this.

there is no conio.h on linux.
if you need colors and stuff, use the ncurses library. for more info, read the manpage (man ncurses).
