C? Why choose such a low-level language?
If you're basically doing HTML work, a much higher level language such as Perl or PHP will do the same work with
much less effort from you.
The computer blasts along at multiple millions of operations per second. You can afford to be quite wasteful of it in a web-application. What you need to economize is
your time and effort.
Focus your (human) attention on
what you want to achieve, not any pre-conceived notions you may have as to "how to do it." Do not waste your own hair-follicles... you may need them someday.
