Bus error


When i try to compile a source with gcc sometimes if i receive this error " Bus error" , by what it's caused ? what does it means?

Is that a PC you're using? Typically, bus errors happen to me when accessing misaligned memory addreses on CPUs which have such requirements (most notably RISC based CPU like Sparc/MIPS/ARM etc).
It should not happen on x86 CPUs. You're saying the compiler itself cores? Then it's probably a corrupt binary.

Use used to get buserror from Netscape all the time before.. (on i386).
