Anyway I love konsole from KDE. One of its nicest features is typing on just one terminal and the whole input is sent to every session and of course the monitoring for silence/activity. |
I use xterm on my old computer (it's the only thing that runs fast enough for me), but konsole/gnome-terminal on the newer ones.
for the non-programming stuff, I use yakuake. oh, what about tty*? |

xterm + fluxbox = tabbed xterm
And a bunch more free memory :D |
xterm is OK. But I prefer the anti-aliased fonts and tabs. Since I prefer gnome/gtk stuff over KDE/Qt I use gnome-terminal.
But, not matter which one, the first to support tabs and split screen will be my next favourite. |
agetty or mingetty

gnome terminantor
gnome terminator did it for me.
Split-window terminal works much better than tabs. |
